In January 2011, we informed you that you would start to notice changes to our logo and branding as a result of Merck KGaA’s acquisition of Millipore Corporation. Due to the breadth of our product offering, this branding update is being done in stages and we remain committed to informing you of upcoming changes.

You should have already begun to see the new Merck Millipore identities on Web sites, catalogs and other materials.

Beginning on October 1, 2011, our “M” logo (as shown below) will be seen on most Merck Millipore Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Certificates of Analysis (CoA) available for download from www.merck-chemicals.com.

The logo will change on these documents regardless of date of issue (i.e., you will also see it on certificates which you download for lots ordered in the past). Please be assured that this is a logo update only, and nothing else in these documents has changed.

We will continue to communicate proactively with our customers when additional branding milestones are reached, and will make you aware as early as possible when you may see other changes in your documentation and packaging.

The “M” logo does not contain the wordmark “Merck Millipore.” It will be used on all products and their associated documentation including packaging, labels, certificates and inserts that will be distributed across Merck Millipore geographies.
